Job summary

Arrow Construction seeks an experienced mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot/repair diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Welding/fabricator work is a plus.

The role involves inspecting and repairing diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and machinery, diagnosing engine issues, and ensuring safety standards are met. Drug testing and background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic for diesel and gasoline engines and related systems.
• Ability to diagnose engine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking to employ an Experienced Mechanic with experience in performing regular preventable maintenance and help troubleshoot/repair electrical, ignition, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and gas/diesel engines. Welding/fabricator experience is a plus.

A Diesel/Gas Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and machinery. Key tasks include diagnosing engine issues, performing routine maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements, and repairing systems such as brakes, steering, transmissions, and fuel systems. They use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and ensure vehicles comply with safety and industry standards.

All applicants will be required to pass a drug, pre-employment physical, and background test.

Requirements:

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy parts are also necessary, as mechanics often work in noisy and sometimes hazardous environments.
