Qualifications

• 5+ years equipment repair experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to write service reports and communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Ability to read Electrical & Hydraulic schematics and apply them to complex machine systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair material handling machinery and attachments.
• Perform thorough machine inspections and Planned Maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair Electrical, Hydraulic, Engine and Powertrain systems.
• Use computer diagnostic tooling and manufacturer software for diagnostics.
• Read, trace and apply schematics to complex systems and document all service work.
• Communicate repair directions and warranty recommendations; mentor technicians as needed.
• Promote safety culture and stay current on safety training (OSHA, MSHA, forklift).
