Job Summary

Performs general warehouse work involving receipt of incoming materials, using material handling equipment to store and retrieve materials, and supporting production and shipping operations. Must be knowledgeable of warehouse layout and safe operation of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Reads work orders and shipping documents to determine actions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Unload trucks and trailers
  • Store materials in designated areas, manage space and bin locations
  • Verify received materials and escalate quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and product identification
  • Coordinate material movement with production
  • Enter transactions into ERP system
  • Follow safety procedures and report hazards
  • Notify supervisors of issues with equipment, operations, or inventory
  • Dispose of scrap and packaging materials properly
  • Maintain equipment and perform safety checks
  • Ensure product quality standards are met
  • Participate in rotational duties and continuous improvement activities
  • Keep work area clean and organized following 5S practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year relevant experience
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to lift and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Accurate counting skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members
