Northeastern Chimney in West Hartford, CT is seeking an Experienced Mason for a full-time role. You will perform brick, block, and stone masonry work, ensuring everything is plumb, level, and properly patterned, while maintaining safety on ladders, roofs, and staging.

With 3+ years of masonry experience, you will repair chimneys, install flashing systems, and diagnose weather-related masonry issues, supported by a strong team and a commitment to reliability and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of masonry experience.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces (attics, roofs).
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 80 pounds.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards, especially fall protection.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work on a team or independently.
• Problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality brick, block, and stone masonry work, ensuring structures are plumb, level, and properly patterned.
• Repair and rebuild chimneys, install step and counter flashing systems.
• Diagnose masonry issues caused by weather and age.
• Work safely on ladders, roofs, and staging while coordinating with teammates and homeowners to keep projects running smoothly.
