S.O.L. Masonry, LLC is seeking an experienced Mason to construct and repair brick, block, and stone structures in the South Carolina region. You will interpret blueprints, prepare mortar, and lay masonry units while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a brick mason or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of masonry techniques and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and work in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures.
• Mix and apply mortar or grout.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Measure distances accurately and ensure alignment, level, and plumb structures.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Cut and shape brick to fit corners and around openings.
• Collaborate with other trades as needed on job sites.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
