Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator for the Weekend Shift at the Exotic Metals Forming Division. You will set up machines, verify tolerances with precision instruments, and follow drawings to produce quality parts for our aerospace customers.

This role emphasizes safe operation, proper documentation, and teamwork in a high‑volume manufacturing environment; competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches.
  • Know when to stop and ask for clarification.
  • Understand proper setup and use of tooling associated with machines.
  • Requires familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments and good manual dexterity.
  • Required to perform shop mathematics associated with machining operations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Responsibilities

Experienced Machine Operator

Weekend Shift: Friday-Saturday 5:00am – 5:30pm

Functions And Responsibilities
  • Operators ensure proper setup of machines to yield quality parts conforming to our customers’ designed tolerances.

  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.

Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments and gloves as required.

The machine operator performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.

  • Pay Range: $23.5/hr to $37.1/hr
