Job summary
Destination Pet, LLC's Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our boarded surgeon. You will monitor anesthesia and assist in soft-tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries, enabling you to practice at the top of your license.
This full-time role offers competitive wages ($33–$35/hr, up to $37/hr for a board-certified technician or VTS), a $2,000 sign-on bonus, generous CE allowances, paid time off, and a strong
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Texas LVT state license.
- Wage range at $33–$35/hr, up to $37/hr for VTS.
- Sign-on bonus of $2,000.
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia & Analgesia: full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, monitoring & recovery.
- Dentistry: full-mouth dental radiography, charting, periodontal therapy as directed.
- Diagnostics: radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, sample collection.
- Nursing & Triage: critical patient monitoring, wound care, catheters/feeding tubes.
- Workflow Leadership: lead tech appointments, team huddles, mentoring assistants/externs.
