Responsibilities

• Perform repairs efficiently per dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools
• Maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with Service Advisors about additional repairs and estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician required
• Certified in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to learn new technology and operate diagnostic equipment

Physical Demands

Must stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, and talk regularly. Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally sit. Must lift up to 40 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close and depth perception. Repetitive movements are common in this role.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving parts, high places, fumes, chemicals, weather conditions, electrical shock, and vibration. Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions. Noise level is moderate.
