Job description

A National Property Management Company is seeking to hire a Leasing Consultant.

Position Overview :

The Leasing Consultant will show and lease apartments to prospective residents and assist with renewal leases for existing residents. They will also provide courteous and efficient customer service to prospects and current residents.

Job Duties :

1. Meet and qualify prospective residents and gather guest card information.
2. Record traffic source information accurately in the system.
3. Show available models and units to prospective residents.
4. Process rental applications, accept deposits, and handle approval procedures.
5. Respond to rental inquiries via phone and internet, including follow-up calls and emails.
6. Assist with lease renewals as directed by the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
7. Open and secure models and show apartments daily; maintain the rental office, models, and apartments.
8. Inspect rent-ready apartments and the community condition daily.

Requirements for Leasing Consultant :

• Full-time position with regular weekend hours.
• Previous experience in the apartment industry is preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong marketing, sales, and communication skills. Experience with telephone sales is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Yardi software is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license is required.
