Job summary

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Experienced Lathe Machinist role is based in Indianapolis, IN. The machinist will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings, work orders, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting tooling, performing machine offsets and adjustments, and inspecting parts using measurement tools to ensure tight tolerances. The role also involves maintaining equipment, monitoring production processes for efficiency and safety, documenting work, and collaborating with engineers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve issues and improve processes. The machinist is expected to support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Physical Requirements
