Job Details

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30.00-$36.00/hour based on experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape construction and crew leadership
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment: skid steer, mini excavator, tracked loader, chop saws, etc.
• Experience with site grading, reading landscape plans, and job site layout
• Valid MA hydraulics license and driver’s license (must be insurable)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP) designation or willingness to obtain

Job Responsibilities:

• Enjoying minimal supervision but knowing to ask for help when needed
• Maintaining work spaces and vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Meeting or exceeding company production standards
• Managing and directing a crew of 2-6 people, demonstrating leadership skills
• Leading by example in a professional manner
• Anticipating problems and planning ahead for materials, equipment, and assistance
• Ensuring safety practices and PPE usage, reporting unsafe conditions, and documenting accidents
• Communicating effectively with team members about job progress
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and SOPs
• Training crew members as a team
• Properly analyzing job cost reports and completing all related paperwork
