Job summary

Drevo Construction in Florida is seeking an experienced Jr. Project Manager to support Sr. Project Manager on commercial projects. The role centers on millwork, finish carpentry, and exterior cladding installations, ensuring work stays on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate manages multiple projects, communicates effectively with clients, general contractors, field crews, and suppliers, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is not entry-level.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in millwork, finish carpentry, doors and hardware, or exterior cladding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, candidates must hold PMP or CAPM, CCM.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with Procore, Fieldwire, and Microsoft 365; proficiency reading blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills with clients, GC, field crews.

Responsibilities

• Help manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, and material procurement.
• Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with general contractors, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and field installers to keep projects on track.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work meets plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and budget.
• Conduct site visits daily to assess progress, address issues, and verify field measurements.
• Track project costs, and documentation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
