Lupient Kia of Brooklyn Park is seeking an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join a busy service department in Minneapolis, MN. You will work on imports with a dedicated bay, earning potential through a technician-focused pay plan and a five-day work week.

Competitive base pay, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing manufacturer training are offered. Prior Kia/Hyundai experience is a plus, but strong import experience and diagnostics are valued.

Formación

• Dealership experience is preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
• Current valid driver's license with insurability standards

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership standards.
• Perform transmission and suspension repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on vehicles, including diesel trucks when needed.
• Diagnose drivability concerns and perform exhaust/electrical repairs.
• Ensure all work meets factory specifications and quality standards.

Lupient Kia of Brooklyn Park is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician ready to join a busy, established service department.

We’re looking for a technician who is comfortable working on import vehicles and has manufacturer training and/or ASE certifications. Kia or Hyundai experience is a plus, but not required. If you have a strong import background and can diagnose and repair vehicles independently, we want to talk with you.

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
• Transmission and suspension repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance and repair to diesel trucks, when needed
• Diagnoses drivability concerns
• Performs exhaust or electrical repairs

Your Qualifications:

• Dealership experience - we strongly encourage techs with other brand experience to apply!
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
• Current valid driver’s license with driving record that meets insurance company standards

Compensation is based on experience, manufacturer training, ASE certifications and overall qualifications. Additional earning opportunities are available through our technician-focused pay plan.
