Job summary

RIDE Indoor Cycling is seeking an on-site, full-time instructor for the Houston studios. You will lead high-energy indoor cycling classes, design profiles, craft playlists, and guide riders through form, intensity, and technique to deliver results.

You’ll ensure smooth studio setup, manage class flow, and provide modifications for all fitness levels while contributing to member retention and a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness or indoor cycling with strong class programming and cueing.
• Ability to motivate diverse groups through clear communication and inclusive coaching.
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, basic anatomy, and guidelines for varied fitness levels.
• Comfort with studio technology and sound systems, including music selection and mic use.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and in-studio professionalism.

Role Description

Experienced Instructors at RIDE Indoor Cycling lead on-site, full-time indoor cycling classes at the Houston, TX studios, delivering safe, engaging, and results-driven workouts. Instructors design and structure class profiles, create motivating playlists, and guide riders through proper form, intensity, and technique. Daily responsibilities include setting up the studio for each class, managing the flow of sessions, and providing personalized coaching and modifications for guests of varying fitness levels. Instructors foster a welcoming, inclusive environment, greet and support riders before and after class, and contribute to member retention through strong relationship-building. Additional duties may include participating in community events, assisting with studio promotions, and collaborating with the studio team to maintain cleanliness, safety, and an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness or indoor cycling, with strong skills in class programming, cueing, and rhythm-based riding.
• Ability to motivate and inspire diverse groups through clear communication, positive energy, and inclusive coaching.
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, basic anatomy, and guidelines for working with various fitness levels and abilities.
• Comfort with using studio technology and sound systems, including music selection and microphone use during classes.
• Strong customer service skills, including relationship-building, conflict resolution, and professional in-studio demeanor.
• Reliable time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple classes, schedules, and studio responsibilities.
• Current group fitness or cycling certification (e.g., indoor cycling, personal training) preferred; CPR/AED certification strongly beneficial.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to participate in team meetings and trainings.
