Job summary

Innovative Installations is seeking an experienced installer in Tempe, AZ. The role requires travel about half the month, with overnight stays and a defined pay ladder.

You will install stadiums, airports, hospitals, hotels, and other large facilities, using your finish-trade background to deliver turnkey results. Expect leadership duties, strong drawing literacy, and a history of reliable on-site execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a finish trade—from kitchen equipment to millwork and cabinetry.
• Able to read drawings and work with hand and power tools.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install across venues: stadiums, casinos, airports, hospitals, hotels, schools.
• Perform stainless, walk-in panel systems, millwork and fixtures work.
• Lead a crew, reading drawings and coordinating with teams on site.

Job description

You know the install is wrong before anybody else does. You've fixed other people's work on your own time because you couldn't stand looking at it. You've waited on plans that never showed, run jobs off a truck that wasn't stocked, and watched somebody with less time in get handed the lead.

We're hiring an experienced installer.

The money:

• $21–$24/hr, based on what you bring.
• Overtime. Paid every other Friday. Defined pay ladder, and we promote off it.
• Daily per diem, tax-free, on your card the day you leave. Not reimbursed. Your own room.
• Crews travel in a company vehicle — not your miles, not your fuel.
• 401(k) with a 6% match. Health, dental, vision, life, HSA. PTO and 8 paid holidays.
• Every large tool provided — welders, plasma cutters, lifts. We pay for your fingerprint clearance card.

How we actually run:

Plans get pulled before the job. Specs and submittals checked against the site. Trucks stocked and serviced on a schedule. Per diem dispersed to the crew, not chased afterward. Basic competence — which you already know isn't universal. Crews are two to four, usually three. Same guys on the road, same guys on the job, start to finish. Family-run, and we hire people we expect to keep.

Travel is required. No exceptions.

Arizona and the surrounding Southwest — mostly Nevada, New Mexico, and Southern California, occasionally further. Mon–Fri, roughly half the month, with occasional weekend work. About 45 hours on travel weeks. No local-only version of this job. Coming off outage or pipeline rotations? Steady year-round W-2 here, real benefits, and a ladder — instead of chasing the next shutdown.

• Stadiums and arenas. Casinos. Airports. Hospitals. Hotels and resorts. Schools and universities.
• Fire stations, military, government. Industrial dining. Chain rollouts and one-off design-build concepts. Quick-service through fine dining.
• Hoods and flashing, walk-in panel systems, cook lines, stainless field welds and polishing, millwork, casework, booth and seating. Turnkey. No two jobs the same.

What you bring

• Construction or trade experience is required. Commercial kitchen experience is not — that part we'll teach you.
• 3+ years in a finish trade — kitchen equipment, walk-in refrigeration, millwork and cabinetry, casework and fixtures, booth and seating, stainless, or commercial remodels. You read drawings. Solid with hand and power tools, forklifts, lifts.
• You've led a crew or been the one everybody asks. Clean driving record. Lift 70, push 100, ladders, active sites in any weather. HS diploma, GED, or equivalent military or practical experience.
• Never touched a commercial kitchen? Doesn't matter. If you've scribed a cabinet run to a wall that wasn't plumb, you already have the part we can't teach.
