Job summary

Geisinger is seeking experienced Advanced Acute Care Inpatient RNs (1+ year of experience) for units across the AAC spectrum. Positions offer a $24,000 hiring incentive and a base rate of $41.00 per hour, with up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Advanced Acute Care Inpatient Nursing.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, plans, implementations and evaluations to meet patient needs.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of the patient and family.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Delivers direct patient care including medications, treatments, and diagnostic studies per policy.
• Evaluates responses to interventions and revises plans accordingly.
• Promotes safety and quality by participating in education and unit initiatives.
