Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infrastructure Project Controls Engineer to lead the integrated infrastructure schedule from construction through operations. You will build automated reporting and executive dashboards to track progress and mitigate risk across all Fabs in Taylor.

The role requires 3–7 years in project controls, and expertise in Primavera P6 or MS Project along with Power BI or Tableau. Base salary ranges from $95,000 to $120,000 and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Construction Management.
• 3–7 years of experience in project controls, large-scale construction scheduling, or infrastructure integration.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and data visualization (Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience managing integrated schedules for large-scale industrial projects; semiconductor experience is a plus.
• Senior level: ability to manage complex interdependencies and critical path analysis (PE or EIT preferred).

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infrastructure Project Controls Engineer to join the Infra Integration team. This is a high-visibility role that blends technical project scheduling with advanced data automation. The successful candidate will be the source of truth for the project's progress, responsible for managing the critical path from construction to operational readiness and building the automated reporting systems that track it. You will ensure that base build utilities are perfectly aligned with dependent Infrastructure customer’s and tool hook-up dates. Translating that complex data into real-time executive dashboards to mitigate risk for all Fabs at Taylor.

Role And Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Develop and maintain the fully integrated infrastructure schedule, managing the critical path from construction to operations.
• Build and automate reporting pipelines that pull data from schedules and project trackers into real-time Power BI/Tableau dashboards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align Fab Engineering need dates with utility availability.
• Provide early warning alerts to leadership regarding schedule slips or interdependency conflicts.
• Codify scheduling and reporting learnings from Fab 1 to create an enterprise standard for Fab 2.
• Generate weekly and monthly health reports for Infra Technology leadership.

Skills And Qualifications

Here’s what you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), or Construction Management
• 3-7 years of experience in project controls, large-scale technical construction scheduling, or infrastructure integration.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in both scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) AND data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Experience managing integrated schedules for large-scale industrial projects (Semiconductor experience is a significant plus).
• (For Senior Level): Demonstrated ability to manage complex system interdependencies and critical path analysis (PE or EIT preferred).

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
