Job summary

Family Resource Home Care of McMinnville is seeking compassionate part-time caregivers to provide quality, heartfelt care in Newberg, McMinnville and surrounding areas.

You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, light chores, transportation, companionship and monitoring—plus flexible shifts and weekly pay.

No experience? They offer training; must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, background check; 18+; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

18 years+.
Ability to pass state and national background check.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
Prepare and serve meals; perform light household chores.
Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
Drive clients to stores or appointments as needed.
Monitor and report on client condition.

Where you will work!

Our McMinnville Branch services Newberg, McMinnville, and nearby surrounding areas!

Pay Rate: $21-$23.50 hr.

Depending on client care level and shift type.

Shifts!

Part time day shifts 7 days a week
Flexible weekend shifts

Requirement

We ask that you have your OR state Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
Cooking and/or serving meals
Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
