Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers for the Ellensburg, WA area through its Yakima branch. Start with HCA training and join our award-winning caregiving team, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

You will support clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and assist with transportation when needed. We offer hands-on training, ongoing support, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (clean driving record)
• Willingness to enroll in our HCA training program if needed (complete within 120 days)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, dressing and grooming)
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities/hobbies
• Drive clients to stores or appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on clients' condition

Where you will work:

Our Yakima branch looking for caregivers in the Ellensburg, WA area only for this specific listing.

Certification Support:

We offer Home Care Aide (HCA) training! Start working right away while completing your HCA through a self-paced and online training course.

Pay Rate: $18-$21.50+ per hour.

Depending on client care level and shift type.

Shift Support & Current Full-Time Client Needs:

• 8-hour shifts: Mon - Sun 6am to 2pm
• 8-hour shifts: Mon - Sun 2pm to 10pm
• 8-hour shifts: Mon - Sun 10am to 6pm

Requirement:

We ask that you have your WA state Driver's License and Auto Insurance. We reimburse .60 cents for transporting clients!

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
