Job summary

Minami Tamaki LLP in San Francisco, CA seeks an experienced immigration paralegal (4+ years) to support our attorneys with PERM applications, immigrant visa petitions, and adjustment of status matters for clients worldwide.

The role requires a BS/BA and extensive immigration paralegal experience, including high-volume nonimmigrant filings (EB-1/EB-2/EB-3) and family-based petitions, plus strong English communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required and extensive immigration paralegal experience.
• Experience with high-volume PERM applications and non-immigrant/immigrant petitions (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3).
• Familiarity with family-based petitions and O-1, L-1 is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Our client’s needs continue to grow!We are once again seeking an experienced (4+ years) paralegal with a passion for immigration law and working with people from around the world. Only well qualified applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities include assisting our attorneys in preparing PERM applications, immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status (family and employment), consular forms, and nonimmigrant visa petitions.

Requirements: BS/BA degree and extensive immigration related paralegal experience, including working with volume employment based non-immigrant categories and/or preparing employment based immigrant visa petitions (EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3), adjustment of status and naturalization applications. Experience with high volume PERM applications or preparing O-1, L-1, as well as family based petitions and applications is a plus.

Candidate must be detail-oriented, must be able to prioritize and multi-task, possess excellent English communication and customer service skills, possess experience in Microsoft suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) and immigration case management software (e.g. Equifax ICM, INSZoom or the like), and must enjoy working in a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range:In accordance with California's pay transparency law, the expected base salary range for this position is between $72,000-$92,000 commensurate with experience
