Job summary

CM-Mills LLC in Ortley Beach, New Jersey is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work on residential and light commercial equipment, diagnose issues and perform timely repairs with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires on-call weekend availability, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

Must be available to work two on-call weekends per month.
3-5 years' experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
Strong troubleshooting knowledge of hydronic heating, residential HVAC, and ductless mini-split systems.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment independently.
Strong customer service skills and professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using diagnostic tools.
Repair or replace faulty components (motors, leaks, compressors).
Perform routine maintenance and inspections; replace filters and ducts as needed.
Provide clear explanations to customers and document work performed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
Maintain accurate records for billing and regulatory purposes.
