CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear; notify customers and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Complete paperwork for each job and maintain files.
• Serve as a direct customer contact, representing the company.
• Determine parts needed for repairs and their timeliness.
• Record parts, materials, labor, and other costs per assignment, and return unused resources.
• Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly.
• Stay current on all products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Work overtime/weekends as necessary.
• Travel regularly, with some overnight stays as needed.
• Require 5 years of experience in the field.
