Job summary

Sleep Inn Hotel in Joplin is seeking a dedicated housekeeper with at least one year of hotel experience to maintain clean guest rooms and public areas.

The shift available is 8:00AM-3:00PM with weekly pay and a range of benefits including meal and fuel discounts, health and life insurance, a 401K with 50% company contribution, and tuition reimbursement up to $1500 per year.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace soiled linens and prepare rooms neatly for guest arrivals.
• Organize and replenish guestroom amenities.
• Stand and walk 90% of the time while servicing rooms.
• Push cleaning cart and operate vacuums.
• Push or lift approximately 20 to 25 lbs.
• Interact daily with customers and employees.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays if requested.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk 90% of the time while servicing rooms
• Required to push cleaning cart and operate vacuums
• Ability to push or lift approximately 20 to 25 lbs.
• Ability to deal effectively and interact daily with the customers and employees.
• We are 24-hour establishment. This employee must have flexible work hours and must be willing to work weekends and holidays if requested.
