Experienced Home Care Worker located in South East Michigan

We are a compassionate and client-focused home care agency serving seniors and individuals with disabilities across Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to help our clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Home Care Worker to join our growing team.

Position Summary: The Home Care Worker will provide essential non-medical support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and promoting a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. This is an in-person role requiring travel to client homes across Southeast Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and help with feeding if needed.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications (no medication administration).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to supervisors.
• Follow the individualized care plan provided for each client.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes within Southeast Michigan.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility safely.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with dementia, or persons with disabilities.
