BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is seeking Home Health Aides in Miami-Dade County, FL to provide compassionate, in-home care for seniors and adults. Immediate start with flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, weekend, evening, or live-in opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida HHA license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Physical and TB skin test within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle background check
• HIPAA requirements compliance
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged
• Ability to safely stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with varying mobility needs

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, ambulation, transfers.
• Provide companionship and support during daily activities.
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings.
• Assist with mobility exercises per client’s plan of care.
• Observe and document changes in client condition and inform Director of Nursing.
• Provide care per client’s individualized plan of care.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality

What You’ll Do

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll provide compassionate, dependable care while helping clients maintain their comfort, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Provide companionship and support during daily activities
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other necessary outings
• Assist with active and passive mobility exercises according to the client's plan of care
• Observe and document changes in the client's condition and communicate them to the Director of Nursing
• Provide care in accordance with the client's individualized plan of care
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Florida HHA license in good standing
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CPR certification
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle background check
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply
