Job summary

Morgan Corp. in Harlem, GA is seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support heavy civil projects. You will operate equipment across earthwork, grading, and utilities, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience. You must pass background checks and a drug screening, have a valid driver's license, and be able to work extended hours and outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prev. heavy equipment operating in heavy civil construction preferred.
• Experience reading grade stakes, survey layouts and GPS grade control preferred.
• Prior OSHA or construction safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, scrapers, and haul trucks.
• Perform earthwork, grading, excavation, and trenching activities.
• Read grade stakes and survey layouts; follow GPS grade control where required.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies.
• Work with foremen and crew to meet schedules and safety standards.
