Mr. Handyman is growing its Central Florida team and seeks an experienced craftsman who believes a job should be done right the first time. You’ll bring hands-on experience across multiple trades and enjoy solving problems while delivering quality repairs for residential and commercial customers.

This role provides a company-provided van with gas card, office scheduling support, and ServiceTitan tools. You’ll work independently most days yet be part of a supportive team, handling a wide variety

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on handyman or maintenance experience.
• Expert in at least three major trades.
• Own a personal set of professional hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to undergo background and driving record screening.
• Excellent customer service with independence.

Responsibilities

• Perform drywall, painting, carpentry, and trim work.
• Install flooring and handle minor plumbing/electrical tasks within licensing.
• Diagnose issues and propose practical repair solutions.
• Provide quality workmanship with minimal callbacks.
• Maintain tools and company vehicle, document time and work performed.

Location: Windermere, Winter Garden, Orlando and surrounding areas

Compensation: Starting at $28.80 per billable labor hour, plus hourly compensation for qualified, non-billable work.

What You'll Be Doing

Our technicians complete a wide variety of small and medium-sized projects, typically ranging from a few hours to multiple days.

Common projects include:

• Drywall repairs, installation, finishing, and texture matching
• Interior and exterior painting
• Carpentry, trim, baseboards, doors, and hardware
• Bathroom and kitchen repairs and improvements
• Flooring installation and repairs
• Minor plumbing and electrical work within applicable licensing requirements
• General residential and commercial maintenance
• Diagnosing repair issues and recommending practical solutions

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced professional with:

• Approximately 8 or more years of relevant professional handyman, residential remodeling, construction, or property maintenance experience
• Strong proficiency in at least three major repair or improvement trades
• Working knowledge of several additional trades
• The ability to diagnose problems and develop practical repair solutions independently
• Experience interacting directly with residential or commercial customers
• A professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach
• A personal collection of standard professional hand and power tools
• Willingness and ability to learn and use ServiceTitan
• A valid driver's license and eligibility under our company vehicle insurance requirements
• Ability to complete applicable background and driving record screening
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
