Job summary

Apple Door Systems in Ashland, VA is seeking an Experienced Garage Door Technician to install, maintain, and repair garage doors, dock equipment, and related systems. You will work hands-on in varying weather and help customers with reliable service.

This full-time role requires 5+ years in garage door service or a related skilled trade, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and annual PPE allowance.

Summary

In the role of Garage Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors, dock equipment, and related systems.

Duties

• Install garage door products per manufacturer specifications


• Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting


• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical failures.


• Perform preventive maintenance services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding, OSHA 10, first aid, and/or CPR certification(s)
