Job summary

Altimate Electric, LLC. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for medium to large scale commercial projects. You will serve as the field leader, coordinating with superintendents, managing crews of 25+ workers, and ensuring safe, on-time execution of electrical contracts.

The role requires extensive knowledge of drawings, schedules, submittals, NEC compliance, and a proven track record on schools, office buildings, retail, or medical facilities. Leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a commercial electrical foreman on large-scale projects (schools, offices, retail, healthcare).
• Licensed Journeyman preferred.
• Experience leading large crews (25+ people).
• Underground conduit installation and layout for under-slab rough-in.
• Installing power company utilities, conduits, transformer pads, vaults, etc.
• Special systems such as F/A, lighting controls, LV wiring.
• Layout shop drawings for under slab and overhead.
• Strong leadership and NEC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Possess complete knowledge of all drawings, specifications, construction schedules, electrical equipment submittals, and mechanical equipment submittals


• Responsible for managing and training all jobsite field personnel


• Responsible for providing and establishing a safe workplace for all employees onsite


• Responsible for the complete field execution of the construction and performance of the electrical contract work


• Responsible for tracking jobsite materials and tools


• Responsible for scheduling and conducting all jobsite inspections, testing, and owner training


• Promote company reputation

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic computer knowledge, ability to navigate in Outlook and Excel.


• Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education And Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a commercial electrical foreman on School’s, Office Buildings, Retail Stores, Medical Facilities, or similar projects.


• Licensed Journeyman preferred


• Running large crews of 25+


• Underground conduit installation and layout for under slab rough in

• High level leadership skills a must

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend and stretch overhead easily.


• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of time in the extreme heat or cold.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.


• Have good hand eye coordination and endurance.


• Have good mobility (for shoveling, sweeping, etc.)
