Job summary

Securitas in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Experienced Flex Security Officer - Full Time to monitor premises, control access, and patrol diverse sites while enforcing client site regulations to maintain safety.

Candidates must be 18+, have a High School Diploma or GED, and possess strong tech skills. NV DL and Guard Card are required; a personal vehicle is beneficial. Training and growth opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and control access at client sites.

• Carry out post orders and complete rounds as scheduled.
• Respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.

Experienced Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Las Vegas, NV

Wage: $17.00/HR

TheFlex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.


• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.


• NV DL required.
