Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks an Experienced Flex Security Officer to support multiple client sites in the Chicago area. The role involves patrolling, access control, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

This position offers weekly pay and a flexible schedule across Chicagoland sites, with a focus on customer service and vigilance. Prior security experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification provided.
• At least 1 year security experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and provide customer service.
• Must respond to emergencies with calm, judgment and escalation if needed.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Experienced Flex Security Officer

Primary Site Location: Chicago, IL

Wage: $19.50/Hour

Schedule: Flexible / Multiple shifts available at various client sites in the Chicagoland area.

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• At least 1 year prior security experience required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
