Job summary

Fireside Technologies is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Installation Technician to support our Greater Cincinnati area clients. You will perform inspections, testing, service, and installation of sprinkler systems, ensuring NFPA standards and local codes are met.

The role requires independent work, strong customer communication, and ongoing growth of our sprinkler division. A valid driver’s license and certifications are preferred, with company vehicle provided for qualified

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of sprinkler inspection, service, and installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25.
• Ability to troubleshoot sprinkler systems independently.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sprinkler inspections (quarterly, annual, 3-year, 5-year) per NFPA 25.
• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, fire pump).
• Conduct hydrant inspections, flow testing, and backflow testing.
• Perform dry system air tests and full-flow trip testing.
• Complete 5-year inspections including internal pipe inspections and hydrostatic testing.
• Diagnose and repair sprinkler deficiencies.
• Assist with installations, remodels, and system modifications.
• Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Work independently or as part of a team with customer service.

We are seeking a highly experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with sprinkler system inspections, testing, service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

This position is ideal for a seasoned technician who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and help support the continued growth of our sprinkler division.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly, annual, 3-year, and 5-year sprinkler inspections in accordance with NFPA 25.
• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, and fire pump systems.
• Conduct hydrant inspections, hydrant flow testing, and backflow inspections/testing.
• Perform dry system air tests and full-flow trip testing.
• Complete 5-year inspections including internal pipe inspections, FDC inspections/hydrostatic testing, and gauge replacement.
• Diagnose and repair sprinkler system deficiencies.
• Assist with sprinkler installations, remodels, and system modifications.
• Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Work independently or as part of a team while providing excellent customer service.
