Job summary

NextGen Technologies is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our Savannah service crew. You will troubleshoot panels, install, service, and inspect commercial fire alarm systems and coordinate with AHJs for acceptance tests.

Requirements include 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience (3+ for the right candidate), NICET II preferred though not required. A solid low-voltage background, clean driving record, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on commercial fire alarm experience (3+ for right candidate).
• Ability to troubleshoot panels and perform NFPA 72 inspections.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, and program commercial fire alarm systems (Notifier, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, etc.).
• Run service calls. Troubleshoot panels, NACs, IDC/SLCs.
• Perform annual inspections and testing to NFPA 72.
• Read prints, pull permits, document the job.
• Coordinate with the AHJ on acceptance tests.
