Pest Control Technician duties:

• Inspecting and treating for pests, pest harborage, and entry points
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Maintaining high service standards at all accounts
• Taking initiative to resolve pest problems
• Suggesting and selling services to meet customer needs
• Participating in group meetings and account reviews
• Completing ongoing training independently and in groups
• Being an active team member
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in the pest control industry
• Experience with computers and smartphones
• Ability to work off of 12+ foot extension ladders
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read and understand English product labels
• Valid driving record with a minimum of 5 years driving experience
• Stable work history
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfort working with insects and animals in various environments
• Willing to pass a respirator fit test and possibly a DOT physical
• Pass pre-employment drug, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks
• Willing to wear a respirator
• Willing to be on-call less than 5 times a year
• Willing to work in the US; immigration sponsorship not available
