Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to perform surveillance and investigations for potential fraudulent insurance claims. Responsibilities include stationary and mobile surveillance, capturing video and photos, and preparing thorough client reports.

The role requires strong covert surveillance skills, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and access to necessary equipment. Overnight travel may be required, and the work involves long hours in a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with covert surveillance and producing detailed investigative reports.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle (preferably with tinted windows).
• Own surveillance equipment: camcorder, covert camera, stabilization gear.
• Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet connectivity.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Case Preparation: Review preliminary reports and case information before assignments.
• Field Surveillance: Conduct covert surveillance from a vehicle and capture high-quality video evidence.
• Report Writing: Draft thorough, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Documentation: Finalize case files and upload video footage at day end.
• Communication: Collaborate with field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
