Job summary

PMA Fence Builders in Durham, NC is hiring a Fence Installer to join a 2–4 person crew installing wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, and ranch fences and gates across the Triangle. You will work directly with homeowners and property managers to ensure high-quality installations.

The ideal candidate has five years of general construction experience, including fencing projects, and is proficient with hand and power tools. A commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in general construction, preferably on fencing projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and solid understanding of general construction principles.
• Strong customer service skills, as you will work directly with homeowners and property managers.

Responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled job sites, engage with customers, and execute tasks accurately.
• Provide hands-on labor to meet project deadlines and ensure timely completion.
• Follow OSHA and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Load and unload materials onto vehicles.
• Ensure precise installation of each fence product.
• Perform basic carpentry, construct fence segments, and remove old fencing when needed.
• Conduct post-job inspections and clean the site thoroughly.
• Review job completion with customers and explain care for long-lasting performance.
• Provide service on PMA Fence Builders products as required.
• Follow PMA Fence Builders processes and policies at all levels.
• Maintain personal liability insurance as required.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
