Dick Smith Ford in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Express Lube Technician to join our Service Department. This role requires at least one year of professional automotive maintenance experience and is not entry-level.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of professional automotive lube technician experience.
Not an entry-level position; capable of contributing immediately.
Ford dealership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform oil and filter changes following Ford/Motorcraft standards.
Rotate and balance tires.
Complete digital multi-point vehicle inspections.
Inspect and replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
Check and top off all vehicle fluids.
Perform battery and charging system testing.
Maintain accurate repair order documentation.
Follow all Ford and dealership safety procedures.
Keep work area clean, organized, and professional.
Collaborate with Service Advisors and other Technicians to deliver excellent customer service.
