Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Excavator/Crane Operator with hands-on experience in the scrap metal recycling industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators and cranes with bucket grapples and magnets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate excavators and material handler cranes equipped with grapples and magnets.
  • Load and unload scrap materials from trucks and railcars.
  • Sort, move, and organize metal materials for processing.
  • Conduct daily inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a scrap/recycling or similar environment.
  • Proficient with bucket grapples and magnet attachments.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial settings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Valid operator certifications preferred (but not required).
