Job summary

Selvaggio Steel in Springfield, IL, is seeking an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager to work in person at the Springfield office. The role requires strong cost estimating, project management, and client communication skills, with experience in architectural/engineering drawings and 3D modeling tools.

The position is full-time with a salary range of $70k-$85k and will involve collaboration with engineers, contractors, and production staff in a non-remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with architectural and/or engineering drawings preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT 3D modeling.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities for engineering calculations.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Experienced Estimator/Project Manager - In Person Only

Selvaggio Steel is looking to hire an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager to work in the Springfield office. No option for remote work.

Selvaggio Steel uses State of the Art project management and estimating software to facilitate both the fabrication and construction process.

You must be able to multi-task, and you need to enjoy working out problems and communicating with construction clients.

We as a company have been in business for 70 years and are proud of the work we do in the community. When you see Selvaggio Steel on a building, you know the work was completed by professionals in both the fabrication shop and the management office.

Salary

$70k-$85k - Middle level project manager/estimator (with 3 years minimum experience)

Full-time Springfield office work mandatory.

Must have

• Willing to contribute and grow with our well respected organization
• Experience with architectural and/or engineering drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT 3D modeling
• Proficient with computers and engineering math

Estimator / Project Management Responsibilities

• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, architects and production staff.
• Consulting with industry experts to discuss cost estimates and/or manufacturing drawings
• Using computer software to calculate cost estimates or document the fabrication process
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good project management and advanced analytical skills
• Can follow through without direct supervision
