Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a meticulous Quality Internal Auditor to join the Quality & Reliability team. You will ensure site processes meet ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, performing audits across the Quality Management System and driving corrective actions with measurable impact.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate audit findings into actionable recommendations, and help sustain a high-quality, compliant, and customer-centric manufacturing culture on-site in Austin.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certified.
• Understanding of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

Position Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Quality Internal Auditor to join the Quality & Reliability team. In this role, you will be responsible the site's internal processes are compliant with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. You will execute and report on internal audits across our Quality Management System across processes overseeing monitoring, analysis, improvement, customer, manufacturing, and support. Your work will influence the quality and reliability of our products and the effectiveness of our compliance framework. You'll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, translating audit findings into actionable recommendations, and follow‑through on corrective actions with measurable impact will be pivotal in sustaining our high‑quality, compliant, and customer‑centric manufacturing culture.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Conduct Quality Internal Audits (QMS, Product, Process) by effectively document any nonconformities and communicating findings to relevant departments.
• Support the site execution of its annual ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 External Audit
• Spread awareness of ISO and IATF standards for the site through a task for team (TFT)
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all quality activities
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards and ensure the company stays compliant

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics
• ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certified
• Understanding of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, techniques, and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws. Employment may be contingent on either the applicant verifying that the applicant falls under the "U.S. Person" definition (including U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and those granted U.S. asylum or refugee status) or the employer timely obtaining any necessary export license under federal law. The employer evaluates export licensing on a case‑by‑case basis and may decline to proceed with a job applicant in its sole discretion, as export license applications can take many weeks to process.
