Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Test Design Engineer for the In-House Repair team in Austin, TX. You will write diagnostic procedures, design test benches, and define pass/fail criteria for RF generators, power supplies, motor drivers, and controllers.

You will operate spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, maintain documentation, and report findings to leadership. A 3+ year EE background and hands-on testing experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• IPC certification is a plus.
• Military experience in similar field is a plus.
• Must know how to safely operate: Spectrum Analyzer, Waveform Generator, Watt Meter(s), Dummy Load, Oscilloscope, and other associated test bench equipment.
• Strong analytical skills / troubleshooting methodology.
• Ability to train other members of the team.

Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
