Animal Emergency Hospital (AEH) in Bel Air, MD is expanding! We are adding internship-trained or experienced emergency veterinarians who have developed an interest in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is caring, compassionate, and dedicated to patients and their owners.

Full and part-time options are available, with a flexible, rotating schedule. We often plan our schedule to allow full-time doctors to enjoy 4 to 5 consecutive days off each month. If you’re a night owl, check out our Overnight-only ad here!

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $220,000+ for full-time, experienced ER DVMs! We also provide employer-paid individual health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K with match, professional licenses and dues, CE, personal pet discounts, and Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIPs) including student loan reimbursement, retention bonuses, and up to 6 weeks of PTO/sick time based on tenure.

Our Hospital

We are a 24-hour Emergency/Critical Care hospital providing advanced care with a skilled support staff. Our new 15,000 sq ft hospital features 8 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, specialized equipment, and a modern, comfortable design focused on client, patient, and staff well-being.

Our services include:

• In-house diagnostics: CBC, Chemistry, Electrolytes, Urinalysis, Coags, Blood Gas, Ionized Calcium, Cortisol, Pancreatic Lipase, Fecal Analysis, PCV/TS, Canine 4Dx, CPL, Parvo, Feline Heartworm, FELV, FIV, Cytology, etc.

• Other diagnostics: Blood pressure, EKG, Pulse Oximetry, Tonometry, etc.

• Endoscopy, Surgical equipment (ForceTriad, Ligasure), Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Ventilators, Neonatal Incubators, ICU, Cat-only room, Indoor exercise area, Emergency dental, Large pharmacy, Multiple surgical suites, Sterilization rooms, Isolation wards, Spacious lobby and exam rooms, Quiet doctor’s office, Conference and wet lab areas, Bunk room with full bath.
