Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring experienced electricians for our Electrical Service division in Price, Utah. You will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit, and wire devices, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to project drawings.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Able to use tools required by company policy.
• Demonstrate teamwork and safety orientation.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Ability to read basic construction documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, branch circuit, and feeder conductors
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of circuiting
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
• Lay out small areas of work from electrical drawings and project documents, including underground layout
• Correctly determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
