Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting for adult and pediatric patients.

The ED at Mercy Washington features a 26-bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, comprehensive benefits starting Day One, and opportunities for career advancement. This is a full-time role with a 2:00 PM–2:30 AM shift, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
• Experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, ICU, Trauma, or Acute Care Nursing.
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Rapid patient assessment and triage.
• Emergency stabilization and treatment.
• Managing high-acuity and critical care patients.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Responding to trauma and medical emergencies.
• Delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
