Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a Blackjack Dealer to manage tables, deal cards, and explain rules for players at our casino. You will monitor gameplay, handle bets, payouts, and maintain accurate records to ensure fair play and a positive guest experience.

The role emphasizes professionalism, security, and adherence to gaming regulations. Candidates should have prior dealer experience or dealer’s school and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of prior experience or dealer’s school required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations.
• Excellent customer skills required.
• Stand for extended periods and bend/reach across the gaming table.
• Must be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Explain Rules: Clearly explain the rules to new players, ensuring they understand how to play.

• Ensure Security: Safeguard the cards and gaming equipment, ensuring that all games are conducted fairly and according to casino regulations.

Blackjack Dealer

A blackjack dealer is responsible for managing the blackjack tables and other Table Games, dealing cards, explaining game rules, and ensuring a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for players.
