Duties include close supervision, following individualized behavioral, medical, health and safety protocols, supporting routines, communication, independence, and reporting health or safety changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in DSP, CNA, HHA, or related high‑support roles preferred.
• Reliability, judgment, communication, and ability to follow detailed protocols.
• Comfort with the specific support needs reviewed during screening.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assignment.
• Driving required.
• Ability to complete all required training and competency requirements before working independently.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional for a higher-acuity one-to-one assignment in Monmouth County

About This Opportunity

Seeking a patient, companion-like DSP for a 31-year-old blind individul with limited verbal communication. He enjoys getting out in the community and is friendly and easygoing. DSP will pick him up from his day program Monday - Friday at around 2:30 PM. Experience working with individuals who are blind is preferred. Must be comfortable with 2 large dogs in the home. The assignment rate reflects the complexity and expectations of this specific case.

Responsibilities May Include
