Qualifications of an Experienced Drywall / Sheetrock Repair Craftsman:

• Sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces suitable for final treatment, while ensuring safety and high-quality work
• Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster
• Repairing cracks and damage to drywall panels
• Concealing imperfections or irregularities in drywall surfaces
• Layering plaster or spackle with trowels for flat surfaces
• Sanding rough areas for smoothness
• Skimming surfaces with final plaster layers for finishing
• Managing and maintaining all required equipment
• Communicating progress and issues to customers and supervisors
• Ensuring safe and effective use of equipment and materials
• Maintaining a clean workspace

Other Preferred Skills & Duties:

• Ability to analyze problems independently and solve them promptly
• Preparing estimates for repairs, timelines, and budgets professionally
• Conducting repairs or projects in carpentry, tiling, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, and other handyman tasks
