Job summary

Two Eight in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC is seeking a Driller to be the Boots on the Ground link between management and field crews. You will operate and maintain surface drill rigs, support safety and production goals, and deliver reliable service to our customers.

This role requires at least 2 years of drilling experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel. You will work in demanding conditions, be part of a tight-knit team, and contribute to the four pillars of safety,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating surface drill rigs in a quarry or mining environment.
• Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of various types of surface drill rigs.
• Strong understanding of drilling techniques, geological formations, and quarry operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in variable weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Complete and pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Willingness to travel.
