Job summary

Tailored Pet Services is offering free training space with admin support for experienced dog trainers. You keep 75% of tuition; space and basic marketing support are provided by Four-Legged Fun Zone. Indoor, weekend/evening access is available to fit your classes.

We seek a trainer with 1+ years of independent group classes, recognized certification, and a plan to grow recurring offerings near Everett, WA. You bring the classes and students; we provide the space and handling of registrations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience independently leading group dog training classes.
• Professional certification or equivalent education in dog training.
• Experience creating and marketing group dog training classes, workshops or events.
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage before teaching classes.
• Commitment to establishing a recurring training program at the venue.
• Residence within 15 miles of the training location.

Responsibilities

• You create and teach dog training classes in the provided space.
• You market your classes to build enrollment and attendance.
• We provide online registration, payments and admin support.
• Leave the space clean and ready for daycare after each session.
• Coordinate with Four-Legged Fun Zone on class visibility to clients.

FREE training space — Weekday evenings after 7:00 PM and/or weekends. Choose the space that best fits your class:

• 50' × 50' fully fenced outdoor training area — 2,500 sq. ft.

PLUS, we take care of the behind-the-scenes work:

• Online registration, payment collection, and credit-card processing
• Confirmations, reminders, class rosters, and registration questions
• A dedicated page for your classes on our website with 1,000+ visits per month
• Visibility with our existing daycare clientele—including clients already asking about training classes

So, what's your part?

You bring the training. You build the classes. We provide the space and handle the admin.

You create and teach the classes. You market them and build enrollment. And when class is over, you leave the space clean and ready for daycare.

We're happy to tell our clients about the classes you offer when they're looking for training—but building your class enrollment is your responsibility.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced, positive-reinforcement trainer with:

• 1+ years of experience independently leading group dog training classes (not assisting)
• Professional certification (CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, IAABC, etc.) or equivalent professional education and experience
• Experience creating and marketing group dog training classes, workshops, or events
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain coverage before teaching classes)
• Commitment to establishing a recurring training program at Four-Legged Fun Zone
• Residence within 15 miles of Four-Legged Fun Zone (6628 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA 98203)
