Job summary

The Dog Stop - Knoxville strives to hire enthusiastic dog groomers for a busy six‑day schedule, with Saturdays required. You will perform full nose‑to‑tail makeovers for all breeds, including baths, nail trims, and desheds, plus walk‑in nail trims.

Build relationships with clients and their dogs while maintaining a clean grooming area. We offer grooming commissions, product discounts, and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of grooming experience with a wide variety of sizes and breeds of dogs.
• Ability to explain grooming options to clients clearly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality grooming.

Responsibilities

• Full Nose-to-Tail Makeovers (bath, nail trims, full body cuts, desheds) for all breeds.
• Walk-in nail trims and gland expressions.
• Baths for all size dogs.
• Customer relations – develop relationships with clientele and their dogs.
• Managing busy grooming schedules and communicating progress to receptionists and clients.
• Maintaining a clean grooming room.
• Keep track of inventory.
• Upkeep on grooming tools.
• Organize and update client profiles.

The Dog Stop is in need of enthusiastic groomers. Grooming is offered six days a week, Saturdays are a requirement, and applicants should be willing to work 5 days per week. We offer commission on all grooming services, as well as discounts on all store products and services.
